I believe the characters where real and believable. There predicaments are similar to some of the problems I have had in my life. The characters are always joking around and having a good time, that reminds me of me and my friends and how an actual person would act.
The characters have feelings,excitement,and emotions, unlike shows as boring as a rock. They have real life problems and fantasies. If I didn’t know any better I would think that Nate Brodie was a real person. I think they the author knew a teenage boys problems and put them into a wonderful story. this gives you a good overview of what it is like growing up.
I have felt the same way when Nate was benched. When I hurt my knee everything went bad.I felt as sad as a emotional flower.No sports, playing, or being active. Some of my friends have bad sight like me, so I know how it feels to not be able to see well. I have also had a good friend move away, and that hurts. But in the end we all know you will always find someway to be happy.
Nate reminds me of me. We both love sports and love pour friends. We may be a little mean but that’s who we are. As my dad would always say “its always easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission”. His dad reminds me of my uncle who is always loosing his job. His mom reminds me of my grandma who is always in a good mood.
